Evaluasi Status Reproduksi dan Kelayakan Usaha Sapi Betina Limousin Pasca PMK Berdasarkan Tingkat Keparahan Penyakit di Kecamatan Kayen Kidul Kabupaten Kediri

Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK) merupakan penyakit viral yang sangat menular pada hewan berkuku belah dan berdampak terhadap produktivitas serta performa reproduksi ternak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi status reproduksi dan kelayakan usaha sapi betina Limousin pasca PMK berdasarkan tingkat keparahan penyakit di Kecamatan Kayen Kidul, Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif melalui survei lapangan, observasi, pemeriksaan status reproduksi, dan wawancara peternak. Parameter yang diamati meliputi Service per Conception (S/C), Conception Rate (CR), Calving Interval (CI), Days Open (DO), Body Condition Score (BCS), dan Profitability Index (PI). Hasil menunjukkan S/C sebesar 2,12±0,21 dan CR 36,67±15,27%. Nilai CI berkisar 14,8–15,2 bulan, DO 96–116 hari, dan BCS 3,08–3,25. Nilai PI pada gejala ringan, sedang, dan berat masing-masing 1,36±0,09; 1,42±0,13; dan 1,29±0,11. Seluruh nilai PI >1 menunjukkan usaha layak dilanjutkan.
