Abstract

Pendidikan yang bermutu merupakan harapan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kepuasan masyarakat menjadi indikator mutu sekolah, sehingga sekolah dan madrasah harus menghasilkan lulusan berkualitas secara intelektual dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi manajemen mutu di SD Negeri 16 Banyuasin, Desa Sungai Gerong, Kecamatan Mariana Ilir, Kabupaten Banyuasin I. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berjenis deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah warga SD Negeri 16 Desa Sungai Gerong. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling.  Informasi utama diperoleh dari kepala sekolah sebagai penanggung jawab. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dalam bentuk narasi deskriptif, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan pola temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen mutu di SD Negeri 16 Banyuasin telah berjalan dengan baik berdasarkan delapan standar nasional pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen mutu di SD Negeri 16 Desa Sungai Gerong telah berjalan optimal berdasarkan delapan standar nasional pendidikan, namun masih menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan sumber daya dan kurangnya pelatihan, sehingga diperlukan penguatan kerja sama, optimalisasi sumber daya, dan peningkatan evaluasi untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan.
